Walleye Weekend Kids & Family Fishing Tournaments

There are two family-friendly tournaments held during Walleye Weekend – a Kids (individual) tournament for kids ages 15 and younger on Saturday, June 7th or a Family (group) tournament held on Sunday, June 8th.  These tournaments are held on Oven Island with children (and families) lining the banks of the two north channels, often shoulder to shoulder. The catch is weighed on electronic scales with the most weight winning. Contestants may choose to fish both days or only one day of their choice. It’s the beginning of summer, so let’s go fishing!

Be sure to bring your own fishing pole, equipment and live bait if you’re interested in participating.  Equipment/Bait will not be provided.
