Q: Where can I park?

Make sure to purchase the parking pass for the correct day or days that you would like to visit, as VIP Parking is only available for the day it is purchased for. VIP Parking can be accessed by entering the Doty Street entrance, at Harborview. We urge all festival goers to park legally to avoid any parking violations during the event.
Q: If I am not able to move around very well, will there be on-site assistance?
A: Part 1 – Handicapped Parking is FREE within our VIP parking area for anyone with a handicapped sticker/credential. Most everywhere in the park is wheelchair accessible, the only exception being top of the Lighthouse, which is only accessible by a staircase.
Part 2 – Courtesy Carts are available for any handicapped, elderly or injured guests. There will be pick-up points at VIP Parking, The Main Street shuttles stop, and the Park Avenue Shuttle Stop.
Q: Will there be ATMs on-site?
A: Yes, there will be multiple ATMs located throughout the Lakeside Park during the festival for festival goers to utilize.
Q: Can I bring dogs or other pets?
A: Dogs, cats, and other pets are not allowed inside the park during large public gatherings, per a city ordinance (so only certified service dogs and our performer’s animals are allowed inside the grounds). If security lets you know that no animals are allowed besides service and preforming animals, please respond and behave respectfully towards the festival staff.
Q: Can I ride my scooter or bike inside the festival grounds?
A: While you can ride your bike or scooter to the festival grounds, please refrain from riding it inside the festival grounds as a safety measure to you and others. For your convenience, there will be monitored bike racks located at both the Main/ Harborview (Main Gate) and Park/Harborview (East Gate). Please lock up your belongings, as Fond du Lac Festivals, Walleye Weekend, and all organizations affiliated with the weekend are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Q: I lost something important at Walleye Weekend, where can I go to check the lost and found?
A: There is a central lost and found at the Walleye Weekend head quarters. If you lost something, please check the Lakeside Park Pavilion (enter through the left set of doors). The lost item may have also been turned into a food stand or location worked by event staff. Please check these locations near where you last had your lost item. While we understand that accidents happen, Fond du Lac Festivals, Walleye Weekend, and all organizations affiliated with the weekend are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Q: What is the Lost Child Protocol at Walleye Weekend?
A: The lost child protocol at Walleye Weekend is as follows…
- In the event that a child is reported missing by a parent or guardian, once notified, Event Staff will call for law enforcement personal to respond to that location. Event Staff will stay with the parent or guardian until law enforcement arrives
- Law enforcement personnel will gather all pertinent information such as name and description of the missing child.
- A description of the mission child will be given out to all law enforcement personnel and Event Staff personnel, who will check their respective areas.
- Law enforcement will escort the parent or guardian to the command post and stay with the them until the child is located.
- When the child is located, all Event Staff and law enforcement personnel will be made aware that the child has been found.
While we understand that this scenario is very frightening, at Walleye Weekend, many missing children are reunited with a parent or guardian in 15 minutes or less.
If a lost child is found without a parent or guardian, law enforcement will attempt to collect the child’s parent’s or guardian’s name, which will be announced over the PA system that runs through the park. Law enforcement will escort the child to the command post (Walleye Weekend Headquarters/ Lakeside Park Pavilion). Once the parent or guardian is reunited with the child, an announcement will be made that they have been reunited.
Q: What else do I need to know?
A: Carry ins are restricted anywhere in the park during the festival.
If you’re of legal drinking age (21+ years old), wristbands are required to purchase and drink alcohol on the festival grounds. Be prepared to purchase a wristband for $2 at any one of the blue and yellow wristband booths throughout the park. ID is required to purchase a wristband.
